Unison Boosts Investment in Bend Tooling Manufacturing to Meet Rising Global Demand
Unison Ltd, one of UK’s leading manufacturers of tube and pipe bending machinery, has announced a further £750,000 investment in bend tooling manufacturing to meet the growing global demand for its high-precision and consumable tools. This comes just over a year after the company launched its new bend tooling service and established a £1 million bend tooling center at its Scarborough headquarters.
Since the service's launch in 2023, demand for Unison’s premium tools has been exceptional, prompting the investment in specialist tooling machinery. The new capabilities will allow the company to produce hundreds of tooling items daily, ensuring rapid availability for customers worldwide. Unison also holds £200,000 worth of tools, including mandrel balls and wiper dies, in stock for immediate dispatch.
Unison’s consumable tooling agreements allow customers to keep minimal stock on-site while benefiting from faster delivery and volume discounts. The company ensures quick turnaround times by holding pre-agreed stocks of commonly used tools, available for next-day or scheduled delivery.
In addition to consumable tooling, Unison also produces long-life, precision tools for complex applications, providing tailored solutions that fit existing machines and improve efficiency. This further strengthens Unison’s commitment to offering customers high-quality, cost-effective tooling solutions.
