Steel King Industries has officially introduced its latest product, the SK ADVANTX™ Structural Bolted Racking System, designed to meet the increasing demands of automation and cold storage environments. The product launch was announced at ProMat 2025, a major materials handling and logistics industry trade show held in Chicago.

The SK ADVANTX system is a next-generation structural racking solution that features a patent-pending, bolt-together design. Components such as posts, horizontal braces, and diagonal braces are assembled on-site, making the system both adaptable and cost-efficient.

According to Steel King, the modular structure of the SK ADVANTX system allows for simplified customization to meet specific site requirements. The design supports features such as conveyor windows, inclined roof trusses, deeper upright structures, X-braced paneling, and configurations that can withstand high seismic or wind loads.

"We are excited to introduce SK ADVANTX™ to the market with Steel King as the only North American manufacturer of structural bolted racking," said Don Heemstra, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Steel King Industries. "This system is designed for high-performance environments, offering durability, flexibility, and reduced lead times."

For cold storage facilities, where close quarters often increase the risk of equipment damage, the bolt-together design allows for easy replacement of components like braces without the need for welding. This reduces downtime and maintenance costs.

Additionally, the system's modular design and component shipping help lower transportation costs. Spliced upright designs enable dense packing, reducing the number of trucks needed and increasing the geographic reach of the product.

Steel King Industries, established in 1970, manufactures a comprehensive line of material handling products including pallet racks, flow storage systems, cantilever racks, and industrial containers. Headquartered in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the company has production facilities in Stevens Point, New London, WI, and Rome, GA.
