Scotchman Industries Releases New FI 125 Ironworker
Scotchman Industries has announced the release of the FI 125, a new 125-ton, fully integrated ironworker designed for high-volume operations in demanding fabrication shops. The American-made machine features five built-in workstations arranged in a single-operator layout to maximize shop efficiency.
The FI 125 has a punch station with a 125-ton capacity, capable of punching a 1-1/2-inch hole through 1-inch thick mild steel. The other standard workstations include a 6” x 6” x 1/2” angle iron shear, a 20” flat bar shear, a 3” x 5” x 1/2” rectangular notcher, and a station for 4” channel iron blades.
Standard operational features on the machine include adjustable electric stroke control, a punch jog control, an electric remote foot pedal, and LED work lighting for visibility. For safety, the FI 125 is equipped with a keyed ram, an emergency stop, and full safety guarding. The unit is powered by a 2-stage hydraulic pump with electric valves and includes built-in forklift accommodations for portability within a shop.
The machine is compatible with a range of optional tooling, including press brakes, tube shears, and various channel and rod shear blades.
Company representatives commented on the new model's position in the market. “Pound for pound, ton for ton, and dollar for dollar — it’s unmatched by any ironworker on the market,” stated Brad Heltzel, General Manager at Scotchman.
Mike Albrecht, National Sales Manager, added, “This isn’t just an upgrade — it’s a game-changer.”
The FI 125 ironworker is made in the USA and includes a 3-Year Warranty.
