Norton Introduces Vortex Rapid Prep Flap Discs for Enhanced Productivity

Norton has released its new Vortex Rapid Prep flap discs, designed with features aimed at increasing productivity in various applications. These discs incorporate layers of non-woven surface conditioning material, intended to provide extended life, reduce the need for frequent disc changes, and minimize vibration during operation.

The new flap discs also feature a high-performance grain and Norton's Clean Bond® resin technology. According to the company, these elements work together to achieve a finer finish more quickly, potentially reducing the number of steps required in abrasive processes. The design aims to offer the cutting power typically associated with a coarser grit while delivering the finish quality of a finer grit, all within a single abrasive disc.

Norton Vortex Rapid Prep flap discs are available in a range of grits, including medium, coarse, fine, and very fine. They are suitable for tasks such as blending, deburring, cleaning, and finishing across different materials and industries.
