Nicrocraft™ has received FAA Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) certification for a new line of replacement exhaust stacks designed for several Cessna® twin-engine aircraft models, expanding the company's portfolio of FAA-approved aviation components.

The approval allows Nicrocraft to manufacture and supply FAA-PMA replacement exhaust stacks for a range of Cessna twin-engine aircraft operating in the general aviation market.

According to the company, the newly approved parts include WC9910295-13 (Left-Hand Exhaust Stack) and WC9910295-14 (Right-Hand Exhaust Stack). The components are approved for installation on multiple aircraft models, including the Cessna 310R, 340, 340A, 414, and 414A Chancellor, as well as the Cessna 401A, 401B, 402A, 402B, 402C, T310P, T310Q, and T310R.

Designed for Durability and Performance

Nicrocraft states that the exhaust stacks are manufactured from 321 stainless steel, a heat-resistant material commonly used in high-temperature aerospace applications due to its durability and corrosion resistance.

The company reports that the replacement components are engineered to meet or exceed original equipment performance specifications and are supported by a 12-month warranty with unlimited operating hours from the date of installation.

FAA-PMA approval indicates that the replacement parts have met regulatory requirements established by the Federal Aviation Administration for design, manufacturing, and airworthiness.

Expanding Support for General Aviation Aircraft

The approval represents another addition to Nicrocraft's growing catalog of FAA-PMA-approved replacement parts for general aviation aircraft.

In a company statement, Jimmy Lockbaum, Business Development Manager for Nicrocraft, said the approval supports the company's efforts to expand product offerings for owners and operators of Twin Cessna aircraft.

The company also indicated that additional FAA-PMA-approved products for this aircraft family are expected to be introduced in the future.

Aircraft Exhaust Systems and Replacement Components

Nicrocraft manufactures aircraft exhaust systems, heat exchangers, mufflers, and replacement components for a variety of general aviation aircraft platforms. The company states that its products are designed to support operational efficiency, reliability, and service life across a broad range of aircraft applications.

Production takes place at Wall Colmonoy's manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where engineering and manufacturing teams support the design, certification, and production process. The facility includes personnel holding FAA Designated Engineering Representative (DER) and Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR) credentials.

Supporting the General Aviation Aftermarket

The FAA-PMA market continues to play an important role in general aviation maintenance by providing approved replacement alternatives for aging aircraft fleets. Aircraft owners, maintenance providers, and operators often rely on PMA-certified components to maintain airworthiness while managing operating and maintenance costs.

Nicrocraft currently offers FAA-PMA approved exhaust systems and replacement parts for a variety of aircraft manufacturers, including Aeronca®, Beechcraft®, Cessna®, Cirrus®, and Piper® models. The company also manufactures exhaust components and mufflers supplied to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).

As demand for replacement parts continues across the general aviation sector, FAA-PMA approvals remain a key pathway for expanding aftermarket support for legacy and actively operated aircraft fleets.
