FANUC has announced the release of ROBOGUIDE Version 10, the latest version of its offline robot programming and simulation software. The software allows users to create, program, and simulate robotic workcells in a 3D environment, helping to streamline automation design and implementation without the need for physical prototypes.

This updated version introduces several significant upgrades, including a shift to a 64-bit architecture for higher performance and a modernized user interface.

Key upgrades in ROBOGUIDE Version 10 include:

  • Virtual Reality (VR) Capabilities: Users can now view and interact with workcells in an immersive VR environment, featuring playback and walk-through functions for improved spatial awareness.

  • 64-Bit Architecture: The new 64-bit application delivers higher performance, increased content capacity, and improved processing power.

  • Modernized User Interface: The UI has been updated with a ribbon-style toolbar, floating and docking windows, and a new drag-and-drop tool for adding robots.

  • Enhanced CAD Import: The software now supports the import of additional native CAD formats to simplify the design process.

“Across nearly every industry, this immersive simulation software allows manufacturers to effectively visualize workcell effectiveness before actual installation, without the physical need or expense of a prototype setup,” said Eric Potter, general manager of the Robot Application Segment at FANUC America.

ROBOGUIDE V10 is now available and shares a single license with the previous version, allowing existing users to access the new features.
