FABTECH Returns to Las Vegas for First Time Since 2016
LAS VEGAS — FABTECH, North America's largest event dedicated to metal forming, fabricating, welding, and finishing, is set to return to Las Vegas for the first time in a decade. The trade show will take place Oct. 21-23, 2026, at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is expected to attract approximately 31,000 attendees from across the manufacturing sector.
The event's return to the Western United States comes as manufacturers continue to evaluate investments in automation, workforce development, and production modernization amid ongoing economic and operational challenges.
According to event organizers, the 2026 edition of FABTECH will feature more than 1,400 exhibitors representing 40 product categories across 725,000 square feet of exhibit space. The show floor will showcase equipment and technologies ranging from automation systems and smart manufacturing solutions to precision fabrication equipment and production technologies.
Manufacturers attending the event will have the opportunity to compare machinery and technologies through live demonstrations and interact directly with equipment suppliers, technology providers, and industry experts. Organizers say the event is designed to help businesses assess solutions that address production efficiency, labor shortages, and evolving manufacturing requirements.
The Western United States remains a significant manufacturing hub, particularly for aerospace, defense, energy, and advanced manufacturing operations. Many companies in these sectors are currently investing in facility expansions, equipment upgrades, and supply chain partnerships to support growing domestic production demands. FABTECH's return to Las Vegas places the event within one of the nation's most active manufacturing regions.
In addition to the exhibition, FABTECH will offer an extensive conference program focused on key industry topics, including manufacturing operations, technology implementation, workforce development, and leadership training. Educational sessions are expected to address challenges facing manufacturers as they adapt to changing labor markets and increasing technology adoption.
The event will also feature the Emerging Leaders Program, which is designed for manufacturing professionals aged 35 and younger. The program includes leadership development sessions, networking opportunities, mentorship activities, and technical education intended to support the next generation of industry leaders.
Industry organizations involved with FABTECH noted that manufacturers continue to face pressures related to workforce availability, modernization efforts, and operational efficiency. Event organizers say the combination of exhibits, live demonstrations, and educational programming is intended to provide attendees with practical insights and connections to support future business decisions.
Registration for FABTECH 2026 is now open. Attendees can register for exhibit hall access and review event details through the show's official website. Media registration is also available for qualified industry journalists and publications.
FABTECH is recognized as one of the manufacturing industry's largest trade events, bringing together equipment manufacturers, technology providers, suppliers, educators, and industry professionals to explore developments in metal fabrication, welding, forming, and finishing technologies.
