FABTECH 2024 Heads to Orlando for the First Time
FABTECH 2024, North America's premier event for metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing, is set to make its debut in Orlando, Florida, from Oct. 15-17, 2024. This marks the first time the event will be hosted in the city, taking place at the Orange County Convetion Center, a key venue in one of the country’s fastest-growing manufacturing hubs.
Registration for FABTECH is now open, offering attendees the chance to explore a comprehensive display of sheet metal manufacturing processes and the latest advancements in fabrication from over 1,300 suppliers. The event will continue to serve as a crucial platform for professionals in the metal fabrication industry to network, learn and engage with cutting-edge equipment and technologies. Last year's event in Chicago attracted over 45,000 participants from 80 countries and all 50 states.
New features for FABTECH 2024 include the Emerging Leaders program, aimed at young professionals with networking opportunities, workshops and keynote sessions. Additionally, the Women of FABTECH initiative will return with a keynote address focusing on career advancement in the industry.
The conference will offer 14 tracks covering diverse topics such as cutting, laser, finishing, forming & fabricating, lean manufacturing, automation, smart manufacturing, stamping and more. Each day will feature keynote speakers and panel discussions designed to highlight innovative strategies and address workforce challenges.
Participants will also have the opportunity to earn credits toward professional certifications from SME, the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association and the American Welding Society by attending the educational sessions.
