EMUGE Launches New TIN-Coated Thread Gages for Enhanced Durability and Precision

EMUGE-FRANKEN USA, a leading manufacturer of high-performance precision tools, announced today the expansion of its thread gage line with the introduction of new TIN-coated gages. These gages feature a 3B class-of-fit, ensuring critical tolerances are met while providing superior wear resistance for aerospace, medical and other safety-critical applications.

The new EMUGE TIN-coated thread gages are constructed from dimensionally stable high-speed steel (HSS) and are coated with titanium nitride (TIN) to increase hardness, wear resistance and lifespan. The coating reduces the frequency of recalibrations and replacements, offering cost savings and consistent, precise measurements. It also protects against abrasion and corrosion, making the gages ideal for harsh environments and tough materials.
