Facility Overview — Opened in 2017, this facility provides steel wire and cold-drawn bars for the automotive industry, which are used to manufacture parts like nuts, bolts, and fasteners
Function: Plant receives raw materials (wire rod coils) via barge. The facility then heat-treats the steel (using specialized Short Time Cycle annealing furnaces), removes impurities, and draws the wire to exact customer specifications.
End-Use: These steel products are primarily used by the automotive industry to manufacture high-strength fasteners, nuts, bolts, and bearings
