Beckwood Press Company to Demonstrate New Line of Hybrid Servo Motion Presses

ST. LOUIS, MO – The Beckwood Press Company will be demonstrating the next generation of their Accu-Flex Servo Motion Presses at the Metalform tradeshow, located at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois (March 25-28, 2007) in booth number 1115.   Additionally, Beckwood will be exhibiting the latest in hydraulic press technology and displaying their wide array of press features and options for presses of unlimited design. 

Beckwood’s Accu-Flex Presses are available from 5 to 150+ tons, and provide customers unlimited flexibility with precision performance for both position and force control.  Beckwood’s Accu-Flex Press utilizes servo motion control instead of servo hydraulics, allowing for a more efficient system when compared to competitive equipment.  These presses are built standard with a touch screen operator interface that has fully programmable control systems, Go/No-Go options and on the fly part verification. Additional benefits of servo motion control in lieu of hydraulics are:  noise reduction, simplicity of design and reduced operating and maintenance costs.  These presses are suitable for production as well as research and development or laboratory environments.
