Beckwood Delivers Compression Molding Hydraulic Press

St. Louis, MO – Beckwood Press Company has recently delivered an innovative new Compression Molding Hydraulic Press made specifically for a major Composites Manufacturer.  This 50 ton capacity press is used to form composite fenders for the heavy automotive industry.

Beckwood’s hydraulic press was specifically engineered for the customer’s compression molding requirements with a high level of control over position and speed.  The low tonnage press was built to accommodate a 68” stroke and 78” x 120” bolsters.  It was designed for a low bed height for ease of integration with ancillary equipment.  Auxiliary hydraulic valves were provided for the activation of core punches and extruders in the custom dies.
