The AMERICOR LH Series Bending Roll is a Modern Initial Pinch-Type Machine

The machine is simple to operate while producing high quality results.
The LH Series machine is fabricated using high quality steel welded to a structural steel frame for rigidity.
All three
rolls are journalled in high-quality roller bearings which provide superior friction characteristics when compared to plain
bearings or bushings.
The upper and lower rolls are driven via a direct coupled transmission eliminating the need for chains or belts.
The high efficiency motor is a single speed design with built-in braking for safety.
The hydraulic system utilizes an amply proportioned reservoir for optimal cooling of the hydraulic oil. Industry-standard
hydraulic components provide for hassle-free maintenance.
Hydraulic cylinders provide the power to adjust the
lower (pinch) and rear (bending) rolls as well as the drop end for easy removal of the finished cylinder.
For added efficiency and to eliminate the guesswork of pinching pressure, the AMERICOR LH machine is equipped
with a "Pinch Gauging Device".
The operator simply inserts a shim the same thickness as the plate to be rolled
into the gauge (located on the side of the control panel), then inserts the material into the machine and raises
the pinch roll until it stops. This helps insure excellent repeatability.
Controls on the AMERICOR LH machines are conveniently located and easy to use via the integrated console.
There are two methods for roll rotation (forward/reverse): Pushbuttons located on the stationary console or
pushbuttons mounted in a portable hand control. The pushbuttons for the hydraulic drop end are mounted on the
machine frame near the drop end for convenience.
The standard digital readout provides fast and easy positioning
of the rear bending roll for repetitive work.
Cone bending is facilitated via the standard hardened cone bending attachment
(which can be easily removed when not in use) and the hydraulically tiltable rear (bending) roll.
Hardened rolls (heat treated to 50 Rc to reduce scratching and pitting and provide longer life), are also standard.
For added safety, an emergency stop button is located on the control console, and there is an emergency stop trip
wire located the full length of the rolls at the front and rear of the machine.
