KW Industries of Sugar Land, Texas, one the world’s leading lighting pole manufacturers is building a state of the art manufacturing plant.  They have placed orders for their entire production line from Hydrapower. 

Hydrapower International Inc. with world headquarters in Marco Island, Florida is in its 40th year of being the design leader in metal forming technology and automation.  Hydrapower and its licensees/alliances world wide have installed more pole manufacturing systems then any other brand.

The new KW facility uses Hydrapowers equipment beginning with the Coil Processing and Taper Slitter, followed by the Turn Over Wheel, Sheet in Feed, 1100 x 50’ CNC Press Brakes with automated Sheet  Positionor Feeder, Conical Die Set, Exit Conveyor and Seam Welder with entry loader.

Jim white, president of KW Industries, is excited about the precision and cost effectiveness of production using this state of the art integrated system.

The automation associated with this production line will allow the workforce to total about 6 production workers to make about 100 poles per 8 hour day.
