Could the Global Steel Market Really be on the Rise?

Industry NewsWith the economy struggling to get out of the recession slump, could the headlines really be true? Could China Steel be right when they say that the global steel market is returning to healthy levels?

It may be hard to believe, but there isn't anything truer than cold hard steel. And that's exactly where we're seeing increases.

China Steel Corp. is Taiwan's biggest steel producer and is reporting that the market has returned to the levels before the global financial crisis. Rapid increases are being predicted within the next few months (some of more than 40%), and prices are predicted to keep climbing.

I know what I'm thinking....even as I write this...yeah right. How many times have we heard that it's going to turn around "any time now?" But let's not be all doom and gloom here. Prices here in the US dropped to a five year low in June, but in China it was at its worst one year ago. Imagine what this means for us?

Here's what it means for us:
healthy supply and demand is returning
